Let’s talk about Bolaji the lawyer behind Startup Launch Consulting…
Hi, I’m Bolaji - Startup Lawyer & Founder of Launch Legally…
Before I became the business lawyer supporting Nigerian founders set up & protect their startups…
I was just like many of you.
Back in university, I tried my hand at almost every side hustle you can imagine. An ushering agency. Perfumes. Makeup. Even a fabric business with a friend.
That last one? It collapsed.
A classic co-founder fallout. We had no contract. No clarity. No legal structure. It stung, but it also taught me first-hand why startup founders cannot build on verbal promises and vibes alone…
After qualifying as a lawyer, I joined a corporate law firm. But the entrepreneurial bug never left.
During the pandemic, something shifted. Suddenly, everyone was launching one business or another And guess who they kept coming to for legal guidance?
✓ Business structures ✓ CAC issues ✓ Tax confusion ✓ Co-founder drama
That’s when I realized, I didn’t have to choose between law and entrepreneurship. So I quit my 9–5. Moved abroad for a Master’s in Business Law.
Then came back and built a legal consulting practice specifically for Nigerian startup founders. Now? I support with founders who are building bold, brilliant things, with 360 legal setup & protection
Because here’s the truth, you didn’t come this far to lose it all over a preventable legal mistake.

Here’s a few fun facts about me (because, yes… Lawyers can have personality)
- I believe plain English beats legal jargon, every time.
- I reverse japa’d from Canada… to help Nigerian startup founders launch legally.
- My Instagram Stories are a mix of law and Lagos life, one of my Reels busting legal myths hit over a million views…
- I read regulatory updates like they’re gossip blogs. 🙂
Hey founder…
You’ve already put in the late nights, the pitch deck edits, the client outreach, the team hiring, the product builds…
You didn’t do all that work just to leave your startup exposed to legal risks that could unravel it overnight.
This isn’t about fear.
It’s about founder-level responsibility.
It’s about making sure when opportunities come (funding, partnerships, growth), you’re ready.
And when challenges show up, regulators, co-founder disputes, client issues, you’re covered. You handle the vision. We’ll handle the legal foundation.
